Training Session 3 - 23rd November 2023

On 23rd November our instructor Jon Lloyd will present a training session on puzzles and chess compositions, choosing some of his favourite chess puzzles and most important chess compositions. The beautiful chess positions that he has chosen will be fun to solve and instructive for all players who are serious about improving.

As a taster, have a go at solving the below problem. White to play and force checkmate in nine moves. If you can’t solve the problem then come along to the club on the 23rd November and discover the solution.
