The first Bracknell Chess Club Junior Tournament was held on Saturday 2nd March at St Margaret Clitherow School. 26 juniors from year groups 2 - 6 competed over five rounds for the trophy. Jack Hood was the eventual winner, beating Shi Hu Artie on opponents points count. There was some very creative chess played over the board. All children conducted themselves admirably and each entrant was awarded a Bracknell Chess Club medal. Our thanks go to St Margaret Clitherow for use of their school.
